An In-Depth Look at the Enforcer Riot Suit

The Enforcer is Haven Gear's answer to a question most riot suits never ask: what if one suit could handle line formation duty, correctional extractions, and elevated ballistic threats without swapping kits? This is a section-by-section look at how the suit is built and what each design decision does for the officer wearing it.

Construction and Materials

The suit pairs a fire-resistant nylon shell with molded polypropylene panels that are blunt force resistant and stab resistant. Fire performance meets guidelines for British Standard BS 7971-3:2002, German standard DIN 53438, and ISO 6941, which are citable certifications rather than marketing language. Base weight is approximately 10 pounds without inserts, light enough that officers can wear it through a full shift, and the modular design allows self-dressing without a second officer.

The Integrated Ballistic Carrier

The Enforcer's defining feature is its integrated multi-function ballistic carrier, which accepts hard plates, soft panels, spike armor, and butterfly ballistic panels. Officers do not choose between their vest and their riot suit; the carrier is part of the suit. The National Institute of Justice publishes the ballistic resistance standards that panel inserts are rated against, so departments can spec the insert level to the threat profile of each assignment.

MOLLE, Hydration, and Cooling

Full-coverage MOLLE webbing runs across the suit, turning it into a platform for grenadier bags, utility pouches, and mission-specific load-outs. Inside, an integrated hydration system carries a water bladder with an accessible hose, and a reusable cooling system runs gel packs rated for roughly four hours. Body camera attachment points and a 4-way ID system visible from every angle round out the documentation and identification requirements most departments now mandate.

Sizing and Options

The Enforcer runs XS through XXL with custom sizing available, in black, gray, hi-vis yellow, multicam, navy, and ranger green. Replacement arm protectors, thigh protectors, leg guards, and groin guards are stocked individually, so a damaged component costs a part rather than a suit.
